The BannerView.com Newsletter Management System, Version 4.0, is an easy to use platform for managing email newsletters, accessed and operated using any standard Web browser. The BannerView.com Newsletter Management system can be integrated and hosted on an existing Web site or can be hosted and maintained on our servers. This system provides the most essential functions for managing a company's newsletter and email marketing campaigns.

NEW IN VERSION 4.0:

• The system was converted to PHP/MySQL from PERL and Flat File Database structure


• From all lists, system automatically removes (parses) bad email addresses and ignores warning messages from known email systems


• Ability to Export a list of email addresses from any single list


• When a person unsubscribes, the system can be configured to allow that person to unsubscribe from all lists, not just the "Main" list


• System tracks who has unsubscribed and how they were unsubscribed and will prompt for verification before adding them to the list again when importing to a list

ADMINISTRATION:

The BannerView.com Newsletter Management System is administered with a web browser from a specially protected directory on your web site. The administration section includes the following options:

Manage Lists - Maintain separate lists with the ability to view, edit, and delete current lists and names, import multiple names from a file, backup current lists on the server, and more.

Newsletter Mailer - Simple form allowing web master to type or cut and paste newsletter contents for distribution. An option is included on this form to send newsletter in plain text or both plain text and HTML formats.

Configuration - Allows you to set the different options that are used in the BannerView.com Newsletter Management System such as general successful/unsuccessful subscribe attempts, footer contents, etc. You may view a sample of the administration section
* Use the following user name and password when asked to login:
User Name = demo
Password = demo

* When viewing the administration section demo, you won't actually be able to change configuration options or distribute newsletters to subscribers on the list. You will, however, still be able to add and delete subscribers from the list.

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:

Client

Standard web browser which supports JavaScript, cookies, and cascading style sheets including Internet Explorer 4.0/Netscape 4.0 or higher and AOL 5.0 or higher running on any Operating System.

Server Software

Any *Nix variant including Solaris, Linux, BSD, etc. running Apache and SendMail with Perl/CGI, SSI, and .htaccess support.

Server Hardware

Minimum - Pentium 100MHz class* system or greater with 32MB RAM, 1MB free disk space for initial ware installation. Recommended - Pentium 233MHz class* system with 128MB RAM and enough disk space to accommodate a growing database.

*Will run on any processor that can operate a UNIX distribution including PowerPC, Mips, Alpha, etc.

Most standard hosting accounts running on a Unix platform will work. If you are unsure if the BannerView.com Newsletter Management System will work with your hosting provider, contact us with a link to a list of your provider's hosting account features and we will check for you.

LICENSING:

The BannerView.com Newsletter Management System, Version 4.0, is licensed on a per web site basis which uses the program. There are no additional costs no matter how many subscribers you have or how many newsletters you distribute. The cost of the license includes free installation, configuration and 30 days of free technical support!
